We are living in a world where fear is becoming the dominant language of the age. Jesus told us beforehand that such a time would come—when men’s hearts would fail them for fear as they behold the turbulence unfolding on the earth. Not only on the earth, but Jesus said “the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Beloved, the shaking is not designed to destroy the believer—it is meant to awaken us, purify us, and call us into deeper preparation. Just as the ten virgins were given time to prepare (Matthew 25:1–13), we too are in a season where preparation is not optional. 1. The World Is Being Shaken — But God Told Us Beforehand Jesus said in John 16:33, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” He never promised a storm-free life, but He promised storm-proof faith. A year of holy separation. A year where heaven is making an unmistakable call to every believer: “Rise into your purpose. Take your place. The harvest is ready.” In 2026, the Spirit of God is sharpening His people. This is not the year of spiritual wandering; it is the year of spiritual assignment. God is calling His sons and daughters to awaken, to discern, and to stand in the exact place He has ordained for them before the foundations of the world. The shaking of the past seasons was not to destroy you—it was to prepare you. The stretching was not to break you—it was to enlarge your capacity. The waiting was not denial—it was divine refinement. As we welcome this new year, heaven is asking: “Do you know who you are for this end-time harvest?” Because in 2026, purpose will matter more than preference. Calling will matter more than comfort. Assignment will matter more than applause. This is the year where God is activating the Esthers, awakening the Deborahs, empowering the Elijahs, and strengthening the Gideons. This is the year where hidden ones will rise, secret-place warriors will emerge, and spiritual misalignments will fall away.
